Street gang members shown what they would look like without tattoos

As part of a photo project, street gang members were shown how they might look now without tattoos. Most of the criminals were surprised.

In the eyes of some of the participants in the video, you can see how for a moment they imagined an alternative and, possibly, peaceful life for themselves. However, time cannot be turned back.
