Mud saved a schoolgirl's life

A young resident of Omsk can celebrate her second birthday. The girl decided to cross the road in front of the approaching tram, but at the last moment she slipped in the mud and fell. This saved the student's life.

The tram driver made an emergency brake, but it might not have saved the girl if she was on the rails.
