Incredible footage: Animals rejoiced at the long-awaited rain (15 photos + 1 video)
After months of extreme heat and drought, the long-awaited and much-needed rain has finally arrived. A delightful moment for people and wild animals.
Australia continues to arrive in not the best condition. The recent rain turned into a flood in some places, powerful hail fell from the sky, and the fires have not yet receded. Therefore, all of us and the Australians themselves need videos like the one filmed in the Symbio Wildlife Park, Helensburgh, located just south of Sydney.
In the video, kangaroos, koalas and wombats do everything that these guys usually do all year round. But in the context of the situation in the country, these shots are like a balm for the soul of the whole world.
"Australian animals celebrate the arrival of rain"
“The long wait for rain is finally over and our animals are very happy about it after such a harsh and dry summer.”
Workers at the Symbio Wildlife Park in southeastern Australia captured a video of happy pets and posted it on their Facebook.
The animals are rejoicing! Kangaroos huddle and have fun near the water
According to reserve staff, male kangaroos have become much more affectionate towards females
These paws love this surface!
Koalas sit in trees and eat wet leaves
Wombats eat treats from the soggy ground. Bliss!
Such simple things, but these beauties really missed them
Thank you, rain!
And here is the video itself. It has already been viewed more than 5 million times!
400 thousand likes and more than 104 thousand reposts of the video indicate that the entire planet is now supporting Australia.
User comments radiate delight through tears:
I'm so glad it's finally raining there, but my heart is still broken for those who lost their lives in the most horrific way.
This happy, healthy looking wombat is beautiful. Enjoying his carrots. Incredibly nice video
The rain allowed our beautiful country and precious wildlife to take a deep breath after a nightmare that brought so much sadness
This video brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. It's wonderful to see these majestic animals enjoying the rain and being in their natural environment!
Let's hope that very soon all living creatures of beautiful Australia will look so happy!
