The story of a real husky mom

Whitney Braley lives in Menlo, Georgia. She is a 30-year-old mother of three children and, unfortunately, a person with disabilities. The woman cannot walk, so not only her family, but also her faithful dog, a three-year-old husky named Banner, helps her in life!

They are always together - on the street and at home, so they understand each other perfectly (or half-bark?).

So recently, when strange things began to happen to the dog, Whitney immediately realized that the dog was trying to tell her something! Banner (and she is a girl) barked, jumped on her owner, grabbed her clothes and pulled her out of the house.

“It was surprising, because my dog always obeyed me,” says the woman. “And then she literally got out of control and, instead of following commands, dragged me in an unknown direction...”

Following the pet, Whitney reached the forest belt and went deeper into the thickets of bushes. And there I suddenly saw a cardboard box that someone had thrown among the trees! The husky dived her muzzle into the cardboard and brought out a small and wet kitten... Then another... And another one!

“I was scared because they didn’t make a sound and were very cold,” Whitney shares her emotions. “I thought they had already died, but fortunately they were all alive!” And I don’t even know where Banner found out about this box...”

The dog brought the silent babies - and there were seven of them - to the owner. The foundlings were taken home, warmed and fed.

True, they turned out to be very tiny - they looked no more than a day old, so caring for such babies turned out to be a serious challenge for a disabled girl. But she did it! After all, her husky mother helped her.)

Yes, Banner was shaking over the kids, not letting them out of sight. The restless dog suddenly turned into a sedate nanny who spends hours lying next to a bunch of kittens, keeping order and safety!

She now sleeps only next to the crumbs, licks them and warms them with her soft fur!

“We will raise them and then place them in good hands,” says the owner of the house. “What a pity that someone left the kittens to die in the forest in a cold box, although they could have done the same for them as we did...”

Whitney considers her husky a real hero, because she saved seven lives! Now subscribers of Banner’s Instagram page (and she has as many as 10,000 of them!) will be able to follow the fate of the cat babies along with the adventures of their favorite.
