In Australia, a deaf and half-blind dog guarded a lost girl for 15 hours (6 photos)
Max, a 17-year-old blue heeler from Queensland, Australia, has become a true hero. Last Friday, 3-year-old Aurora wandered into the forest. The police and volunteers searched for the girl all night, but they could not find her. The next day, the missing woman's grandmother, Leisa Bennett, heard her granddaughter screaming in the distance: "When I got to the top of the mountain, the dog came up to me and led me straight to her." It turned out that Max spent a cold and rainy night with the girl, warming her with his warmth.
17-year-old Max, a blue heeler from Queensland, Australia, is rightfully considered a hero
Last Friday, 3-year-old Aurora left her grandmother's house and wandered into the forest.

It rained at night, the temperature dropped to 15 degrees, and the girl was dressed only in a T-shirt and shorts.
On Saturday morning, Leisa Bennett heard her granddaughter screaming in the distance.
“I went up the mountain, and when I got to the top, the dog came up to me and led me straight to it,” says the grandmother.
Aurora was found at the top of a steep hill, the girl escaped with fright and a couple of scratches
Max, despite being deaf and having problems with vision, looked after the girl all night and warmed her with his warmth.
For his loyalty and dedication, the local police department awarded Max the title of honorary police dog.
