A compassionate rabbit from the Omsk region replaced the puppies’ mother (4 photos)
In the village of Azovo, Omsk Region, a male rabbit saved newborn puppies. He protected them from danger. Local resident Margarita Startseva told about this story. The fluffy animal ran away from the farm in the summer, but in the fall it showed up near her house, where it dug a hole. The woman fed and watched the rabbit. Soon she noticed that a white dog lived next door to him. Even later, Margarita saw the female dead: she had been shot.
Three days later, three puppies emerged from the hole. They were hungry, and two of them had not yet opened their eyes. Eared all the time protected the kids from cats, looked after them and carefully watched that the mistress of the house did not come too close to them.
Startseva managed to find new owners for the puppies. Two have already been taken away, and the owner of the runaway rabbit has also been found. Until the owner for the last puppy is found, they are in no hurry to take the little eared one.
