Workers rescued the cutest predator from a trap
On November 7, 2017, in the city of Anamosa (Iowa, USA), workers were clearing a plot of land from accumulated lumber and suddenly discovered a raccoon stuck in a pile of wood chips mixed with the ground. Without thinking twice, the men, using shovels, rescued the poor fellow, who, by the way, himself took an active part in his liberation.

My company performed work for a client. When we arrived at the site, the homeowner told us that he had a lot of logs, branches and sticks accumulated on the property. And he was going to burn it all. At that time we were doing some other work with trees, so we were asked to chop the accumulated logs, branches and sticks into chips. It was considered that this solution would be more environmentally friendly, and the wood would be recycled. As we were finishing sorting through the pile, I saw a stuck raccoon and carefully freed it from the wood debris. After rescuing the raccoon, the work was completed. No more animals were seen.
