The huge nuclear icebreaker "Taimyr" passed a few meters from a group of travelers
A member of the Arctic expedition, Anton Panov, captured on video how one of the largest nuclear-powered icebreakers, the Taimyr, breaks up the ice at the mouth of the Yenisei at −50 °C
Traveler and photographer Anton Panov writes:
On the way to Dikson, we met the Taimyr, a nuclear-powered icebreaker designed to guide ships to the mouths of Siberian rivers. A huge colossus. Even on the approaches to us, the ice began to tremble. And when I got there, it was so cool that it’s hard to describe in words!
