It's hard to believe, but these pictures were taken in Iran in the 70s before the Islamic Revolution of 1979. Back then it was a secular state in which women could dress the way they wanted and even had the right to vote. Now all this remains only in the memory of the older generation of Iran and in photo chronicles.
