A unique trick was performed by the Tatra 810 4x4 prototype truck: the car managed to overcome the Brutt Monster arch at the Libros Ostrava training ground in the Czech Republic, which is used to train extreme drivers for special services and law enforcement agencies.
Libros Ostrava is a safe driving center, the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic. It has created a special off-road technical training ground where driving skills in emergency situations are practiced. There is a whole set of different obstacles here. These include the Brutt Monster steel arch, one of the most challenging technical obstacles in the entire world.
Its main characteristics: weight of the entire metal structure - 40 tons, length of the "track" - 33 m, internal width - 2.4 m, height above the ground at the top point - 7.5 m, maximum angle of ascent - 45°, angle of descent - 55°.
Passenger cars have reached this height before. Truck - for the first time. Moreover, the Tatra 810 4x4 drove through the arch in both directions. The Czechs called this event a “world record.”
The driver of the extreme Tatra 810 4x4, Libor Vaclavik, admitted that he had been preparing for this record-breaking race for five years: “We had to train for a long time, but we still managed to demonstrate the superiority of human potential over the laws of physics! From the outside, the Brutt Monster looks and feels completely different from what it was in "in the cabin of a multi-ton truck. When you go up, you see nothing but hanging pipes. Therefore, you can only rely on your intuition."
