She turned a concrete floor into a sparkling wonder (9 photos + 1 video)

But the floor of this room has long been in need of repair and renovation - and this moment has come! Katie decided to give the floor a shiny finish - look what she came up with.
In order for you to succeed, you will need the following things:
- set for applying self-leveling floor,
- 2 paint rollers and 2 paint trays,
- from 6 to 8 containers of glitter, depending on their color and the size of the room,
- 1 edge brush,
- varnish (or other finishing coating) for the floor
1. The first thing you should do is make sure that the floor you are touching is exceptionally clean. If your floor is concrete, you need to seal all holes and cracks. Then let them dry.
2. Then fill the floor with base. This is especially important if it has a highly absorbent surface. The two-component self-leveling floor must be thoroughly mixed and applied using a roller. You need to do this quickly and make sure that the layer is even. For details, see the instructions for your self-leveling floors.
3. Then we cover the dried floor with a special two-component paint. It also needs to be mixed before application. Pay special attention to edges and corners. It makes sense to choose a paint that matches the color of the selected sparkles.
4. Now sprinkle the fresh paint with glitter, generously so that it goes on nicely and evenly. Finally, dry the floor thoroughly.
5. The last stage is applying the finishing “sealing” layer. Its role can be played by epoxy resin, parquet varnish or something like that, but it must be transparent. After application, the finishing layer must be thoroughly dried and the room must be ventilated.
