What would people look like if they came from other animals?
A French artist imagined what we would look like if we had evolved not from monkeys, but, say, from owls or raccoons...
From school we know that man descended from a monkey, and after millions of years of evolution, he received his own species. however, sometimes in the faces of some people we see features of completely different animals.
Charles
Lebrun
(Charles Le Brun) - a French artist of the 17th century and the head of the French art school of the era of Louis XIV - was also interested in physiognomy. In his work "Treatise on Facial Expression" Lebrun imagined what people would look like if they descended from other animals. The result turned out to be unusual, because this is the artist’s imagination.
