A dog who lived on a chain for 8 years found a loving owner (9 photos)

Meet this pit bull named Lola, who spent 8 years of his life chained in a dark garage, where he had to sleep on a cold concrete floor. The dog was rescued by animal rights activists from the AMA Animal Rescue organization, who provided her with proper veterinary care and found a new owner for her, with whom she has been living for 7 weeks. The animal quickly got used to comfort, and most of all loves to lie on soft pillows, as well as on a bed, sofa, carpets and other warm surfaces. Thus, Lola, apparently, is trying to compensate for the warmth that she has been missing all these years. As Lola's owner, Charlene von Saher, noted, this is an ideal dog for a busy person living in New York, as she does not require much attention and is completely unpretentious.
