Yoti Amge from the Indian city of Nagpur is the smallest girl in the world, according to the Indian Book of Records. The 15-year-old schoolgirl is only 58 cm tall and weighs 5 kg.
Amge suffers from a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia. However, the girl says that she likes being famous. "I'm proud that I'm small. I like people's attention," she admits.
Like all teenagers, Yoti loves listening to pop music and watching DVDs. She hopes to get noticed in Bollywood. Recently, Yoti participated in the recording of an album by her favorite singer, Mika Singh.
Yoti studies at a local school along with her peers. She sits at a small desk specially made for her.
The girl's mother, Ranjana, 45, said: "When Yoti was born, she seemed normal. We found out about her illness when she was five years old. Yoti is small but cute. We love her very much."
