Many people dream of owning a car.

Many people dream of owning a car. And of course, any car, like any other thing, can break down. But it happens that the car is “driven into a coffin” by its owner with his bad habits. They will be discussed in this review.

1. Empty tank

Quite a bad habit, characteristic of motorists rather out of ignorance. You should never empty the fuel tank dry, especially if the car has been in use for more than one year. If a motorist has not developed the habit of refueling in a timely manner and a lot, he risks spending considerable sums on repairing the entire fuel system. Ideally, the bank should always be filled to at least 14 of its capacity. It is also worth knowing that it is better to refuel immediately and completely, and not several times and a little at a time.

2. Vehicle overload

After purchasing a car, it is worth finding out exactly how much load it can bear. Overload is the real killer of cars. You should not load the car too much, because this contributes to accelerated wear, moreover, it significantly increases the risks to the life and health of the driver and passengers in the event of an accident or simply an extreme situation on the road.

3. Careless driving

It's hard to believe, but this is a really bad habit that many drivers have. Start too abrupt. The brake is too harsh. Driving a cold car. All this and much more, done without any special, real need, contributes to the breakdown of parts, reducing the life of the car.

4. Handbrake

Many drivers mistakenly believe that the handbrake should only be used when the vehicle is parked on a slope. It is really necessary to use the handbrake in these situations so that the car does not roll away. However, you should not neglect the use of this type of brake in situations when the car is standing on a flat, straight surface. Why? Yes, because the handbrake can significantly reduce the load on the car’s clutch, which means it will extend its life.

5. Hand on the lever

Some drivers claim that if you systematically put your hand on the gear lever, this has a bad effect on the gearbox itself. How fair is this? It's really difficult to say. So far, no one has found a sufficient number of arguments to refute or confirm this statement. However, one thing is certain: if you leave only one hand on the steering wheel while driving, the risk of an accident increases significantly, and what can cause more damage to a car on the road than a collision with another car?

Well, the eternal problem is whether to warm up the engine:
