Alisa Seleznyova through the eyes of foreign publishers (28 photos)

To be honest, I didn’t even know that Kir Bulychev was such a translated author. It turns out that "Alice's Adventures" has been translated into many languages.

But, to be honest, in most cases the imagination of foreign illustrators was not at all pleasing. I found several foreign editions of books about Alisa Seleznyova from the 70s and 80s and if you are interested, I am ready to share with you.

Let's compare, first foreign books, and at the end of the post our, domestic ones...

Here is an example of the Greek edition

But for some reason Alisa was renamed Alyonka

Following the Czech Republic, it is logical to see the Slovak take on Alice

"Holiday on the planet Koleida" is apparently "Alice's birthday"

Well, this is “A Million Adventures” - in the picture, apparently, the royal jester from the city of Jangle...

Let's move to Bulgaria
