A US resident purchased an abandoned town in the Mojave Desert for $1.4 million. He acquired 1.5 square kilometers of land, 22 buildings, and the empty Cerro Gordo mines, where silver was once extracted.
For the past six years, Brent Underwood has lived there with seven cats and some goats, gradually fixing up the place and organizing various events for tourists. He also runs a YouTube channel where he shares stories about life there and explores the tunnels.
