Cyborg insects with cameras are being tested in Germany (2 photos)

Germany tests cyborg insects with cameras! The startup Swarm Biotactics showed live cockroaches with small backpacks: there are cameras, sensors and radio communications. The insects are controlled via electrical signals - they are literally biorobots for reconnaissance.

Such cockroaches can crawl where drones cannot reach: into cracks, rubble, underground. Everything they see is transmitted to the operator. Now in Germany they are testing a swarm of such cockroaches. They not only move on command, but also communicate with each other - the behavior of a real swarm is built into the program.
