The first teaser for the sequel to Spaceballs, a parody of Star Wars and other franchises that came out in 1987, has appeared online. In the short video, the creators described what has happened to cinema since the first Spaceballs.
98-year-old comedian and director of the first film Mel Brooks will reprise his role as Yogurt*. Rick Moranis and Bill Pullman will also return to their roles.
The premiere is scheduled for 2027, 40 years after the release of the first part.
