The robber caught the fishing line with his foot in the dark and the bucket filled with water fell to the ground, after which the light came on outside. After that, the man had to quickly leave the stranger's home.
Having noticed the overturned bucket, the owners of the house checked the CCTV footage and contacted the police. Law enforcement officers identified the perpetrator and arrested him.
During the trial, it became known that the drug-addicted man already has 49 convictions for 108 crimes, including 25 burglaries committed since 1986.
