An occupier tried to throw a grenade in the direction of our positions, but caught a bullet in the head, dropped the grenade and exploded
The fighters of the 28th Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign drove the occupiers into a dead end and destroyed the assault aircraft in the Toretsk direction. As reported by Censor.NET, a video of the fighters' successful attack was published in the Butusov Plus Telegram channel.
"The occupiers are increasingly trying to use a new tactic - when a small assault group comes in first, hides as close to our positions as possible and waits for reinforcements," the fighters reported.
At dawn, our pilots noticed how the occupiers were trying to run to their positions as quickly as possible. The crews of the Kurt&Company unit and the Unmanned Systems Battalion destroyed some of them immediately. And the rest of the invaders were driven into dugouts and "fox holes" by heavy drones, taking aim at them. At the same time, infantrymen of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion went to clean up.
Using grenades and small arms, the soldiers cleared each trench. Only in the last trench did an enemy assault trooper try to throw a grenade at our soldiers, but he caught a bullet in the head, dropped the grenade and blew himself up.
