In the US, a judge used a VR headset to immerse himself in the scene of an incident from the suspect's perspective. The defendant pulled out a gun in front of a crowd, allegedly in self-defense.
During a hearing in Florida, the judge and other participants in the trial donned the Quest 2 to relive the incident from the suspect's perspective. The man, Miguel Albizu, is accused of threatening people with a gun, but his lawyer claims it was self-defense.
He asked the developer to create a simulation of the altercation so the judge could relive it.
