Living Barbie who spent tens of thousands on cosmetic improvements has hardly aged in 30 years (4 photos + 1 video)
Marcela Iglesias, famous for her resemblance to a Barbie doll, has stunned fans at the age of 47 by posting photos from her youth. She has spent £86,000 on cosmetic enhancements
Marcela Iglesias, known on social media as the "human Barbie", has once again attracted the attention of the public. The 47-year-old businesswoman, who lives in Los Angeles (USA), shared rare photos from her teenage years, surprising fans with the fact that her appearance has hardly changed in 30 years.
In the archive photos, Marcela is only 16 years old, and although her hair color was different, her general features remained almost unchanged. Social media users are delighted with how she manages to maintain such youth and beauty.
Iglesias openly spoke about the fact that her appearance is not only due to genes, but also considerable effort. She spends about £780 a month on care: these are IVs, vitamins, creams and non-invasive cosmetic procedures. She also follows a strict pescatarian diet, avoids alcohol and sugary drinks, exercises regularly, and sleeps at least eight hours a night.
"When I meet people I haven't seen in 10-15 years, they are shocked that I look the same, and sometimes even better, than before. I have never spared money on my appearance and am proud of the result. Gravity is inevitable, but I am ready to fight its influence," she said.
Marcela began her transformation 12 years ago. Since then, she has undergone numerous non-surgical procedures, including boob jobs, skin shaping, cellulite removal and other cosmetic surgeries. She is currently planning on getting buttock implants, valued at £12,000
"I want my figure to look even more sophisticated. If I can afford it, why not?" she explained.
Her 23-year-old son Rodrigo is also inspired by his mother. She gave him a nose job for Christmas a few years ago.
"He's happy with the result, and that's the main thing," Marcela said.
Iglesias also said that it's important for her to live in a city where cosmetic procedures are the norm.
"In Los Angeles, no one judges you for wanting to look better. Yes, they can call me plastic or fake, but I don't care. I do it for myself," she added.
