A blogger in Japan walked down the street in white socks: the result amazed her
An Indian blogger decided to find out if Japan really is one of the cleanest countries in the world. To do this, she bought a new pair of snow-white socks and walked the streets of Tokyo in them.
"I bought a fresh pair of socks and walked out into the streets of Japan in them... Because if this is really the cleanest country in the world, my socks should remain impeccable," the blogger captioned the video.
After the walk, at the end of the video, she showed the "report" to the camera: the socks on her feet were perfectly snow-white.
In the comments, people confirmed from their own experience of visiting Japan that this country really amazes with the cleanliness of its streets.
"I'm in Tokyo now, and you are absolutely right about the cleanliness in Japan. You wouldn't dare to litter," one of the commentators wrote under the video.
However, there were also those among the commentators who did not believe in the cleanliness of the "experiment". They noticed that the blogger put on and took off her socks in the same place, and suspected that they "remained clean" due to editing.
"You are literally in the same place. You clearly just put on your socks, stood up, sat down, showed them off, and then walked around," another commenter said.
