A team of surfers created a device for generating artificial waves in an Australian town a few years ago. This is what it looks like.
A mega-machine for artificial waves in the Australian town of Yeppoon. This thing was built back in 2018 by a local surfer and a team of like-minded people, spending 37 million dollars. Since then, it has been tested and improved, and a full opening is planned only in 2025.
The main feature is the ability to create several types of waves at once for surfers with different levels of training.
