“Holy saints”: a fish falling from the sky damaged an elite foreign car (2 photos + 1 video)

Cynthia and Jeff Levine didn't even realize anything had happened at first, and then saw the damage to their car.





Cynthia and Jeff Levin from New Jersey witnessed an unusual event. Their Tesla car was damaged by a fish that apparently fell from the sky near their home.

The couple said that at first they didn’t even realize that something had happened. The car was parked in a driveway in Atlantic Highlands on Sunday, July 21. The incident was caught on camera.

"The car started beeping, it was beeping madly, which we had never heard. I didn't know how to turn it off. I got out, and my husband was somewhere in the yard. He heard the accident and everything else, but didn't pay attention to it," - said Cynthia.

Then the couple saw the damage to their car.

“We said, ‘Holy saints, look at this.’ I told my husband it looked like fish scales and blood on the windshield,” Cynthia says.



Jeff said they initially thought someone had thrown a fish at their car. The couple even began to suspect that someone might be stalking them.

The publication notes that the Levins live about a mile from where the fish could have appeared in Raritan Bay. This led them to believe that someone might have simply abandoned her. Birds flying with fish in their mouths are a common sight, locals say.

"We also have an eagle's nest in our backyard... We think it was most likely an eagle," Cynthia added.

The Levins expect to get their vehicle back soon.
