66-year-old actor Steve Buscemi was attacked in New York. An unknown person attacked Steve while he was walking along the streets of the city. It is reported that after the attack, Buscemi was taken to hospital - his face and left eye were swollen. In a conversation with The New York Post, the actor's representative said that this happened last week. Now Steve feels good and is grateful to his fans for their support.

“He is fine and appreciates everyone's well wishes, although he is incredibly saddened that this happened to him while he was walking on the streets of New York,” a spokesperson for the 66-year-old actor said in a statement.

At the same time, the police noted that the attacker was a bearded black man wearing black clothes. He has still not been found, the police have published his identification and are asking residents to help find the criminal.



This is not the first attack on actors this year. On March 31, 55-year-old Michael Stuhlbarg was hit in the head with a rock while walking in downtown New York. Interestingly, both Buscemi and Stuhlbarg starred in the same series, Boardwalk Empire.
