The sexiest scientist in the world swims with sharks and hunts pythons (8 photos + 1 video)
American Rosie Moore, who is called “the sexiest scientist in the world,” spoke about her most dangerous activities in the wild. Among them are swimming with sharks, being bitten by a huge python, and swimming through narrow flooded caves.
Rosie Moore is an American scientist, model, researcher and writer. The girl is called “the sexiest scientist in the world,” and Rosie also loves dangerous research. She recently shared which of her experiences in the wild were the most dangerous and memorable. She called the first one “python hunting”: while searching for pythons in the forest, one of them suddenly bit her. According to the girl, although this is not the safest activity, the risk of death is low.
The fearless girl also swam underwater very close to tiger sharks: she gave the experience a “6/10 for potential danger.” Rosie also has another hobby: she practices cave freediving, where she makes her way through narrow underwater caves. She rated the danger level of such freediving at 8 out of 10. The next most dangerous activity is working with venomous snakes. Rosie gave it a rating of 9 out of 10: if you accidentally mistake the type of snake, it can be fatal.
The scientist spoke about another dangerous experience: swimming with alligators, which she also rated 9 out of 10. In the place where she went diving, local residents often fed alligators - and this increased the risk.
"In the area where we dived there are a lot of alligators that are being fed. They are very used to people, which means they will swim very close. It's great for nice photos, but you never know what to expect from a predator," says Rosie .
Rosie, 26, lives in Florida and loves science. She now works for a coastal water management company in Delray Beach, studying populations of invasive reptiles and crocodiles. Every day she has to find and capture exotic animals, many of which are considered deadly. She often goes on scientific expeditions, monitors the environment and leads an active lifestyle. In her free time, the girl travels, dives and blogs.
