Ukrainian soldiers fired HIMARS at the newest electronic warfare complex Palantin in the Zaporozhye direction
While conducting reconnaissance in the Zaporozhye direction, operators of reconnaissance unmanned aerial systems of the 3rd separate MTR regiment discovered a mobile operational-tactical level electronic warfare system "Palantin". He conducted electronic reconnaissance and suppressed the existing communications systems of the Defense Forces in this direction.
According to Censor.NET, MTR operators accompanied the target and provided information to the missile and artillery unit of the Defense Forces for a subsequent strike. As a result of fire damage, the enemy target was destroyed using the HIMARS system.
According to special forces, the complex allows you to “blind” in the short-wave and ultra-short-wave ranges, and interfere with cellular and trunk communications. Palantin, if necessary, can combine different electronic warfare and electronic reconnaissance systems into a single combat network, which significantly increases the effectiveness of their use. The complex completed military tests and entered service with the occupiers in 2019.
