“Romanian Barbie” works as a truck driver - she drives a pink truck with two cats (2 photos + 2 videos)
35-year-old truck driver Georgeta from Romania has become a social media star. Videos and photos of her pink truck, which she drives with cats, have gone viral on the Internet. 
Georgeta has been driving a truck for 12 years and works mainly in Spain. However, she recently returned to her homeland, bought her own truck and started working for herself. 
The girl spends most of her time in the car, so she spent a lot of effort to turn it into a cozy space. Georgeta is called the “Romanian Barbie” for her love of pink, and this color dominates not only her outfits, but also the interior of the truck.
Fulfills orders from Georgeta along with two domestic cats - Pisi and Norocel. She picked up the last one from the street after he jumped in front of her truck. The girl managed to brake in time, saw that the cat was hungry and scared, and decided to take it with her.
Georgeta films videos of her life with her pets and posts them on TikTok. The two most popular videos have more than 1 million views.
Although Georgeta performs work that is considered masculine, she is proud of her femininity. “When I started driving a truck, I cut my hair short and bought men's clothes. And when I first came to work, a guy called out to me: “Come on, buddy!” That's when I changed my style. A woman needs to remember that she is a woman, regardless of her profession,” she said.
Georgette studied management in college, worked as a saleswoman, and did hair and makeup. But she found her calling only when she enrolled in a truck driving school. During her time as a truck driver, she thought about changing her field of activity several times, but each time she returned to the wheel.
“Every time a truck drove by, my heart beat a little faster. I realized that I couldn’t quit, it’s like a drug,” the girl shared.
