The truck disrupted the loading process of a pickup truck and miraculously did not run over its owners

On January 5, an outdoor surveillance camera installed on the façade of a retail establishment located on a highway in the Thai province of Chiang Rai recorded footage of a truck colliding with a pickup truck parked at the side of the road.

The store owner and his elderly mother were loading various packages into the car. A heavy truck passing at a decent speed literally swept the pickup out of its way and miraculously did not hit any people.

According to media reports, the culprit of the accident, who was not injured as a result of the incident, fell asleep at the wheel and rammed the car.

The local police department said it would force the truck driver to reimburse the cost of repairs to the pickup truck owner.
