A lover of mushroom dishes, traveling at the end of September through a wooded area in Iwate Prefecture (Tohoku region, Hokkaido Island, Japan), was forced to fend off an aggressive club-footed mother.
A Japanese mushroom picker was filming his plant prey on a mobile phone camera when a female bear attacked a trespasser.
During a short confrontation, the young man, using a stick, managed to fight off the attack of the bear.
According to the author of the video, fleeing from a mother protecting her cub would be a big mistake, and he entered into a fight with a formidable beast, received lacerations on his arms and legs, but survived and returned home with mushrooms.
