British Airways employee Mike Beaton shared with his colleagues the details of his vacation: in Johannesburg, on the eve of his flight to London, the pilot went to a nightclub, where he met a company with whom he then spent the rest of the night. It was fun: orgy,

Having learned about what happened, the managers decided to remove the pilot from the flight, but finding a replacement employee was not so easy - it took a whole day. The flight cancellation cost the airline approximately £100,000.

And upon returning to Britain, the offending British Airways employee (who was married, by the way) was forced to take a drug test, which turned out to be positive, after which the pilot was fired. “Safety is always our top priority,” the airline said, and the pilot’s employees are surprised by his stupidity: not only did he behave irresponsibly before the flight, he was also smart enough to boast about his behavior to a colleague! In general, there is no sympathy for the fired person, because the first thing, as we know, is the planes, and the girls and everything else come later.



He also will not find work at other airlines until he completes a comprehensive rehabilitation program. Only after this the pilot can be admitted to the medical examination. Then the expert team, which will include doctors, will give a verdict (and in such situations it is not always positive).
