Heavy rainfall flooded the streets of the Indian city of Nagpur. Eyewitnesses share footage of the consequences of heavy rains

The Indian city of Nagpur drowned after extreme rainfall. Residents of a city in the state of Maharashtra in the heart of India are posting videos on social networks of the consequences of heavy rains.

Judging by the footage, the water washes away everything in its path. People have to sail on boats to avoid drowning. Some are literally swept away by a powerful stream.

According to the weather forecast, the precipitation will not subside for another 4-5 days.
