The size of dinosaurs compared to what surrounds us today

Once the main inhabitants of the globe were lizards. Among them were not only giants: dinosaurs were of completely different sizes. In addition to the well-known diplodocus and tyrannosaurs, there were also lizards a little higher than a cat or even an average bird.

Most often, the bones of large dinosaurs are found, as they are much better preserved. However, it is still difficult for us to imagine visually how huge these creatures were. For example, we know that the quetzalcoatl had 12-meter wings, but what it really was is hard for us to imagine.

Houses, our pets, cars, trees - all this helps to imagine much more clearly what sizes the giants of the past had.
