Unlike the sedan, the new version of the E-Class will receive by default single-chamber air springs on the rear axle. Their goal is to improve comfort when driving and maintain the ride height regardless of from loading the trunk. Optionally, the station wagon can be equipped with a full-fledged air suspension. At the start of sales, the Mercedes-Benz E-class will receive three power unit based on 2-liter fours.
