In St. Petersburg, migrants staged a mass brawl over food

After the massacre, several people were left lying on the ground.

According to reports, the police arrived with a check on the facility near the Lakhta Center. Food was illegally sold on the territory, so local businessmen abandoned the stalls with goods and gave up.

But the food remained. And soon a lot of foreign workers gathered there - to profit from free supplies. There was not enough for everyone and a fight broke out. This is probably not the first time this has happened, but there has never been such a massive “battle”.

Food remains ownerless, and therefore free. Therefore, a large number of workers gather here in the hope of eating for free and conflicts arise on this basis, sometimes it comes to fights, - said the correspondent, who arrived at the scene of the emergency and spoke with eyewitnesses.

Only the newly arrived security forces managed to stop the scuffle. The Interior Ministry says:

On this fact, the police of the Primorsky district initiated a criminal case under the article "Hooliganism". It was established that the cause of the fight was a domestic quarrel between workers. The identities of the instigators of the conflict are being established.

Dozens of people have already been arrested. Now establish their involvement in the conflict.
