Hooligan arrival at the airport of the plane of the President of Argentina
Crazy pilots decided to show the maneuverability of the "new" aircraft.
On Thursday, Argentine pilots flew a presidential VIP Boeing 757 from Miami to Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires. They did it with pomp, deciding to demonstrate the capabilities of the Boeing over the runway itself.
In the videos filmed from different angles, it can be seen that the plane coming in for landing passes over the runway a few tens of meters, and then makes a sharp roll towards the city. And all this was done under not the best weather conditions.
The strangest thing in this story is that "air hooliganism" was agreed and allowed by the aviation security authorities and the airport's air traffic control.
And if many ordinary Argentines and netizens were delighted with the skill of the presidential pilots, who, we note, had previously flown fighter jets, then pilots from other countries and people interested in aviation sharply condemned such a reckless act. For example, English civilian pilot Scott Bateman wonders why they put on a dangerous and pointless show, even if they were allowed to do so.
The authors of the Russian aviation tg-channel reacted in approximately the same way:
The lack of common sense, multiplied by the self-confidence of the veterans of the 1982 war and the impunity of the status of "presidential pilot". And, yes, the left lapel towards the city is something.
It is known that previously the Boeing 757-200 was an ordinary civilian aircraft and belonged to the Spanish airline Iberia. But then it was converted into a VIP aircraft and was used by the American Validus Aviation from 2017 to 2022. Well, now he is in the hands of the reckless presidential pilots of Argentina. Good luck to them, of course. And for many years.
