12 photos that Africa is not at all what it is (13 photos)
Its own color and atmosphere: what the real life of Africans looks like.
Photo project Everday Africa was created more than ten years ago precisely with the aim of breaking stereotypes about life in Africa. In 2012 photojournalist Peter DiCampo and writer Austin Merrill (Austin Merrill) went to work in Ivory Coast. They were both amazed at how narrowly and one-sidedly they imagined the country before the trip. So and a project was born: DiCampo and Merrill started taking photographs Everyday life. Soon the photo collection began to replenish with pictures other photographers, at first only European, and later African.
