Bus carrying passengers overturned off a cliff in Indonesia

An eyewitness captured the fall of a passenger bus that rolled off a road slope in the early morning of May 7 and fell into a ditch in the Tegal regency (Central Java province, Indonesia).

According to local media, the bus, whose brakes failed, rolled down the slope of the road and fell off a cliff.

Among the 50 passengers in the cabin, 30 required medical assistance. One passenger did not survive the crash.

Rescuers of the local search department, along with volunteers, immediately arrived at the scene and provided assistance to the victims. More than 30 victims were sent to nearby medical facilities.
