The sortie of a predator of the cat family ended extremely unsuccessfully, in anticipation of feathered prey lurking near an artificial reservoir.
The pet caught the bird, but made a jump and, having bounced off the wall, fell into the water.
The dog, in whose eyes the cat could not diversify its diet with game, rushed to save the unfortunate predator, who independently got out of the pool and, tail between his legs, minced past his master, and then disappeared into the house.
