River barge rammed drawbridge in Brussels
Where the captain was looking remains a mystery.
In the capital of Belgium, a river barge flew into the drawbridge (Buda) and seriously damaged it, moving one of the platforms 20 centimeters. There were cars at the crossing at the time of the collision, but, fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
It is reported that the deformation from the impact now does not allow the bridge to be raised to ensure navigation. The movement of barges along the canal is blocked, despite the fact that this artery was the main one for the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel to the Belgian capital.
Now engineers are planning to dismantle the structure built in 1955
