Adam as a child

Adam Rainer was born in 1899 in a small town Graz in southeastern Austria. Everyone in the family - both parents and brother were of normal height. And baby Adam slowed down in growth after 5 years. Pundits suggested surgery to remove a pituitary tumor. Risky, but what if the growth has already exceeded 2.30 m? Adam agreed. It was not possible to solve the problem of growth, only to slow it down. After the operation, the unfortunate man was bedridden, because having coped with incredibly rapid growth, the spine began to collapse. The man had to be placed in a specialized institution in order to provide the unfortunate giant with proper care.



Adam passed away at the age of 51 in 1950. His height on that the moment was 2.34 m. Relatives cremated the body in order to an amazing person who managed to stay in his life and a dwarf, and giant, left alone at least after death and did not torment the body unfortunate post-mortem experiences.
