Nissan Juke and Toyota Camry immortalized on 500 riel banknote in Cambodia (10 photos)
The currency of any country is always interesting to look at. For example, people are frightened by the eye on the back of the US dollar bill. But in Cambodia has something much more interesting. 
Let me ask you a provocative question: what can you buy for 500 Cambodian riels?!
Considering that this is about 4 hryvnia, then, most likely, nothing you won’t be able to buy ... But this “solid” bill can be bought with interest look at. 
The front side depicts the current king of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni, and on the back - a bridge across the Mekong River, which moves Nissan Juke. What a twist! The car is far from outstanding technical characteristics, let alone design. Reasons for it images on the tickets of the State Bank of Cambodia, apparently, are hidden in mysterious Asian soul. Or the artist was given a photograph that should have been used as a source, but he just redrawn it ... 
A sedan is moving towards Juku, according to some sources identified as a Toyota Camry. Although, it is rather a collective image of a sedan, while the Nissan Juke is unmistakable!
Interestingly, the Cambodian "five hundred" has long been depicted vehicles, be it a tractor, a pair of oxen or an unidentified sport car. Roofing felts Porsche, roofing felts Mitsubishi 3000GT. 
Images of cars can also be found on the banknotes of other countries, although not many. Old 100 Malaysian ringgit banknotes had the assembly line of cars of the local brand Proton is shown, and in Malawi on the back of a banknote of 50 kwacha (Malawian kwacha) - classic Land Rover Defender.
