Ken Block's "Electrichan" all-electric Audi melts tires across Las Vegas at night
Ken Block, a North American racing driver better known for his viral videos than for his athletic performance, unveiled the "Electrichana". For the first time in history, Block took a ride in an Audi S1 Hoonitron all-electric 4WD drift car.
Famous extreme sportsman Ken Block has published the first video from the Gymkhana series after breaking up with Ford and leaving for Audi. The video is called Electrikhana, as it features a driver in a specially built Audi S1 Hoonitron prototype with two electric motors. The video takes place in Las Vegas.
Ken Block demonstrates high-speed sideways driving with an abundance of smoke from under the wheels, passing by the main attractions of Las Vegas and demonstrating traditional tricks - for example, Block's electric car rotates almost in place right at the entrance to the casino with glass doors.
On the route, he meets not only boxers and Elvis Presleys, but also rare Audi sports cars - for example, the rally Audi quattro of the mid-1980s and cars of different years built for Le Mans, as well as vintage civilian models.
