A homeless animal was trying to stay warm in the cold and got stuck.
An employee of the Vernost charity shelter in the city of Elabuga received a call from the unified rescue service on the morning of February 26. She was told that they received a call from a woman who was walking past the cinema and saw a puppy stuck under the hood of a parked car. The animal, caught between the wheel and the hood, could not get out: its head was stuck tightly, and it was cold outside, -20 degrees.
The shelter does not have its own rescue service, but one of the activists immediately went to the scene of the emergency.
When she appeared on the spot, the puppy was already covered with frost and began to freeze without moving - he had long since become exhausted in unsuccessful attempts to get out.
Random passers-by came to the activist’s aid. The owner of the car in which the puppy was stuck also arrived. To get it out, they first tried to deflate the front wheel. However, this was not enough to save the animal.
As a result, one of the passers-by invited everyone to lift the car in their arms. Only after such incredible efforts was it possible to rescue the puppy, who was freezing to death, from the trap and save it.
Now the four-legged baby has been taken to a shelter, where they will look for new owners for him.
