An Australian student found an idea on how to easily save a certain amount of money, which would be enough to please himself with a gift at the end of the year. Last Christmas, the guy decided that he would save every five Australian dollar bill he could get his hands on for a year.
As a result, in a year he managed to save 104 bills, that is, 520 Australian dollars or 407 US dollars. The guy noted that such savings also allowed him to become more disciplined, since he did not spend money on all sorts of small things, which were usually spent on $5 bills.
