A little kitten swam across an icy river and found its caring owner (4 photos + 1 video)

It is generally accepted that cats do not like and are even afraid of water. But this kitten from Saransk completely refuted this stereotype with his incredibly brave act.

The baby was able to swim across the Sura River, despite the enormous distance and icy water!

Employees of one of the local companies were relaxing on the river bank. As soon as they arrived for the picnic, they immediately noticed a small white spot on the other side.

The kitten meowed loudly, as if calling for help. The surprising thing is that there were no houses nearby, so most likely the kitten was not domestic...

When people began to get ready to go home, they noticed that the baby suddenly jumped into the water and began to swim in their direction!

They were very surprised by this sight, but they were not taken aback and began to support the kitten. People ran along the shore and called him to them.

The current was too strong for such a small swimmer, but he did not give up. The kitten was carried away more than a hundred meters from its original point. But he still managed to get to land!

And so the cold and tired baby rushed into the arms of people. What he did is simply amazing. The company's employees were amazed by his willpower and endurance.

They warmed the baby and decided to take him with them.

For several days the kitten was in foster care with one of the employees. But soon he found a caring owner. She became the director of the very company whose employees witnessed the incredible swim of the fluffy.
