American woman saw a cougar in bed next to her and decided it was a dream
In the Californian city of Colusa, a cougar jumped into the window of a residential building and ended up in the bed of a sleeping woman. Upon waking up, the apartment resident initially thought it was a dream. UPI reports this.
After some time, the woman realized that what was happening was real, but she did not panic, and simply opened the door for the cougar and let it out.
The incident occurred on July 4, but the public only learned about it after the publication of a video from surveillance cameras, where the predator runs down the street and jumps into the window. They decided to make the recording public after a meeting of the county commission on fish and game resources, at which they discussed solving the problem with local cougars. These representatives of the cat family are increasingly being spotted in densely populated areas.
