After peeling a chicken egg from a family farm for breakfast, a woman discovered another egg inside. It is worth noting that this was not an egg with two yolks, but two full eggs - one inside the other.
Under normal circumstances, a chicken ovulates and releases an egg that passes through 5 sections of the oviduct, along the way acquiring protein, auxiliary elements and, finally, a shell that holds everything together and protects the contents from outside influences. Sometimes a failure occurs at some stage, and then the half-formed egg does not leave the chicken, and a new one begins to form right on top of it.
Ultimately, the very large egg has difficulty pushing through the cloaca. This phenomenon should not be confused with another, much more frequent, when the formation of two eggs instead of one leads to the appearance of two yolks in the egg - such an anomaly cannot be called anything other than a pleasant bonus.
